Stieg Larsson Fever and FREE Movie Tickets!

Stieg Larsson fever has taken the nation – or I should say world – by storm! He died of a heart attack at the age 50 and at his death, he left the manuscripts of three completed but unpublished novels. He wrote them for his own pleasure after returning home from work in the evening, making no attempt to get them published until shortly before his death. Published posthumously, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire have been international bestsellers and are both now in paperback. The long-awaited 3rd in the trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest is due out in the U.S. on May 25th. So anticipated is this 3rd novel that people have been importing it from the UK!

Not only that but The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is now a major motion picture AND we have two FREE pairs of tickets to see the film at the lovely Jane Pickens Theater to raffle off! All you have to do is reply to this post to enter to win the tickets – it’s that simple – just reply to the post and we’ll draw the winners this weekend!

To add even more to the Stieg Larsson frenzy – if you bring in your Jane Pickens ticket stub from seeing the movie we’ll give you 20% OFF the paperback of The Girl Who Played with Fire AND if you reserve your copy of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest at ISLAND BOOKS, we’ll give you a coupon for 20% OFF a purchase in June. What’s not to like about deals like this!

  1. I want to to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo so very badly. I loved both this book and The Girl Who Played with Fire and am looking forward to the final installment.

    I hope I win!

  2. My Mother loves mysteries and I love to give her books, but I considered this one for two years before I risked it. I shouldn’t have worried. She was up for the story.

  3. I loved the books and am looking foward to reading the third.
It is always interesting to see if the visual images you have formed while reading correspond to those depicted in the movie.

  4. Thanks to Kathy Staab and the lovely Jane Pickens Theater, all three of you are winners! She gave me a 3rd set of tickets. I will be in touch with each of you today. Thanks for playing and have fun!
